CBD Comparison

In addition to providing a Worker Activity Index metric for the subject building, we also provide a chart which compares a building's Worker Activity with that  of the CBD average. The CBD Average - which is assigned a constant worker activity index value of 100 within the CBD Comparison chart - is derived through analysis of a large sample of CBD office buildings for the relevant city (e.g. Melbourne CBD, Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Parramatta).

The CBD Comparison allows benchmarking of the Subject Building activity against the CBD average, irrespective of varying building sizes and vacancy rates, and shows the difference between the subject building and CBD average. When the Subject Building weekly activity index is above the CBD average line (i.e. greater than 100), the subject building is proportionally more busy (more identified worker activity) than the CBD Average cohort of buildings. When the subject building data series is below the CBD Average line, subject building activity is proportionally lower than the CBD Average.
