Hour of Day
The Hour of Day chart plots the level of building activity across the hours of day, averaged for each day of the working week. It provides a view of building activity throughout the day, to identify peak times, typical start times and when workers are leaving the office at end of day.
Figure 1: Example of a Worker Activity in a particular building by Hour of Day including the 3-month rolling average
The blue columns indicate the relative level of activity within the building for each hour of the day (averaged across Monday to Friday)
for the period specified in the date picker (e.g. hour of day activity averaged across Apr 2022 - June 2022). In the screenshot above, 5 - 6 PM is observed to have 5.0% of the detected worker activity for the day.
The pink column represents the hour of highest activity for the analysis period - the busiest hour in the office building.
The black line graph indicates the three month rolling average for hour of day activity, and allows users to compare the study period values against the last three month average. The three month average uses the 'To Date' in the date picker as its anchor point, and calculates the three month rolling average from
the latest available date for the month in the 'To Date'.
